Update: This game is being played in Hollymount, not in Ballinrobe. By Liam Horan, Webmaster Flanagan Park, Ballinrobe, is the venue this Sunday afternoon for the O’Mara Cup final between Hollymount-Carramore and Garrymore (1pm). Referee is Garryowen McMahon. There could be a tidy (as opposed to untidy, I guess?) crowd at this game so stewarding will be necessary. Alan Flannery is our usual co-ordinator of stewarding and I can’t see anything changing for this game so let Alan know if you’re available.
Correction – we don’t host O’Mara Cup final Read More »
By Liam Horan, PRO, Robe Rockets David Conway, secretary, Robe Rockets, has lined up a game for our enthusiastic U6s. They play no less a club than Castlebar Mitchels at 6.30pm on Thursday in Flanagan Park, Ballinrobe. Ergo, U6 training on Wednesday will not take place – we expect all our U6s to be in bed early Wednesday night in anticipation of Thursday’s match. Come along and support the youngsters.

Ladies U10/U12 with Mary Langan, take their first trip outside the county. On 23rd July our U10/U12 ladies played Clonbur ladies in what was a very exciting match. Our ladies, shown above with Mary Langan, Coach and Ballinrobe Ladies Football Club Secretary, displayed great skills and team spirit on the field. Every match proves our ladies are getting stronger on a weekly basis and that the twice a week training is really paying off. – Aidrienne Gleeson, PRO, Ballinrobe Ladies Football club
