If you are interested in being a community sports leader organising activities which would be fun and non sports specific then the Active Leader might interest you. This Friday evening and all day Saturday course is Irish Sports Council accredited and will take place on the weekend of the 29th and 30th March with participants taught the skills of communication, observation and group management.

Also included in the comprehensive schedule is walking and cycling leader training in February / March at dates yet to be finalised. Following the huge interest generated by the Operation Get Active Mayo programme co-ordinated by the Partnership there is significant interest amongst communities to get leaders trained to lead activities locally.
