The kids had plenty of questions for Paddy and Danny who kindly signed jerseys/shorts, socks, gloves and boots. We have over 260 kids attending this week and fingers crossed for good weather for the rest of the week. It’s a record…over 260 young people at our Cúl Camp. In this photo, you can see coach Martin Costello as the Pied Piper of Flanagan Park on Monday morning. Wonderful to see so many boys and girls taking part – well done to all parents, coaches and others who help out with Robe Rockets each week. Our U16s got off to a great start with a win over Kilmovee Shamrocks in the first round of the championship. Well done to the players and their coaches. By Irene Langan, Club Secretary Hi all, I’m sure you all know that the Ballinrobe Festival is on this coming weekend. Monica Horan is looking for any help available over the weekend. If you can help out please let her know on 0874111343. Also, Ballinrobe Ladies Club are holding a bake sale on Saturday in Cornmarket from 10am until 4pm. They would appreciate your support. Our junior team are playing at home tonight (Wednesday) at 8pm if you feel like a trip to Flanagan Park. And our Senior team are playing at home at 2pm Sunday versus Ardnaree-Sarsfields. The Minor team will be playing away to Hollymount-Carramore on Friday evening at 7.30. All our teams would appreciate a good turn out for their matches. Hope you all enjoy the weekend. By Declan O’Loughlin Our two U10 ladies teams played St. Mary’s Aghamore this afternoon. Both games were tough encounters with great skills on show from both teams. This was the girls fifth game of the season and these young ladies have improved with each game they have played. U10s girls train Thursday at 6pm and Saturdays at 9:30am and new members are always welcome. Thanks to Aghamore for travelling and we hope to play them again away from home.
