First game of 2013
We play Garrymore in the opening round of the O’Mara Cup in Flanagan Park, Ballinrobe, on Sunday next, February 17th. The game has a 12noon throw in. Referee is Mark Tuffy. Full Mayo GAA fixtures HERE

Evita
We wish Ballinrobe Musical Society every success with their staging of Evita, starting tomorrow night, Saturday (February 9th). As always, we will play our part by supplying some people to help out with the car-parking each night. If you can do your bit, please let Liam Horan know the exact night(s) you can make it – secretary.ballinrobe.mayo@gaa.ie Already a few club members have volunteered. Ideally, we would like to supply at least one club member per night, so please make a special effort to help out. Club social
The club will have a social night on Friday, February 22nd. All club members and supporters are invited to attend. The venue will be announced shortly.
O’Mara Cup
Our first game will be on Sunday, February 17th – at home to Garrymore at 12noon. Games will take place on Sundays 3rd, 10th, and 24th March with final on April 6th or 7th. Full list of fixtures are available HERE .
Ray is new manager
Tonight’s meeting of the Executive Committee of Ballinrobe GAA club formally ratified Ray Connelly as our senior team manager for 2013. The Hollymount native – who lined out for Mayo at all levels, including winning a NFL medal in 2001 – was wished every success in the position by chairman Alan Flannery. His backroom team will be finalised shortly. The team have returned to collective training in the past few days.
