SENIOR TEAM MANAGER: At last Monday night’s meeting of the club executive, Alan Flannery (chairman) and Liam Horan (secretary) were appointed to commence the process of appointing a senior team manager for the 2013 season.
MAYO NEWS CLUB STARS: Alan Murphy has an award in the bag – and perhaps another one in the offing. MORE HERE. We hope to have a good turnout of club people to support Alan on the night.
CHRISTY O’LOUGHLIN: Last Monday night’s club meeting opened with a prayer (led by club president Tony Walkin) for the late Christy O’Loughlin. The club helped out with parking at the O’Loughlin family home on Tuesday evening, and also formed a guard of honour on his final journey from St Mary’s Church to the cemetery. SCOR NA NOG: The South Mayo Scor na nOg finals will take place in Hollymount on Friday, January 4. anyone under the age of 17 who would like to represent the club should contact any club officer.
